The Clay Colton Band has been entertaining audiences across Southern California with an eclectic blend of authentic original and popular music since 1999.
While opening for the Zac Brown Band, placing 3rd in Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” competition, and winning the Viejas Casino/KSON $10,000 Big Country Showdown, the Clay Colton Band has made a respected name for itself in San Diego and can be found playing regularly at many hot spots throughout Southern California and the western US. Their music crosses through every modern genre while tapping into the influence of musical history from the past 60 years of popular music. Throughout their experiences of performing up to 240 shows per year for almost a decade to a variety of fans of all backgrounds and ages, the CCB has discovered their own sound that is at the heart of American culture.
Audiences have come to love the band for their entertaining demeanor, rustic rock sound and energetic stage presence. Some would categorize them as Americana, Southern Rock, Alt-Country, or Alternative Rock, but the truth is, they simply ROCK, with any adjective you prefer to put in front of the word.
